Today...
Is a special day. Today is the day when I got my first car; it's also the birthday of a couple of very cool people that I know.
But the real reason I remember today?
It's Neets' birthday.
I have no idea when, y'know, my own characters were born, but I probably won't ever forget the grouchy green-haired guy. Particularly not if the rest of the week is anything like the last few days -- between Tatterdash popping out of the woodwork and hearing music I hadn't thought of in years (including the Sarah McLachlan song from Due South that runs "I'll be the one/to hold you down/kiss you so hard/[and] take your breath away" at the grocery store), I'm remembering the glory days of RPing in the late nineties/early aughts.
Mostly I miss it, though I don't miss some of the drama that went on, and I definitely DON'T miss the lamers.
