Mostly because I'm tired.
My bad tooth hurts; the weather's changing; a stranger wants to see my writing (because he's good at plots and action sequences); I've been thinking about getting bits of metal stuck through various portions of my anatomy.
It's NaPoWriMo; I can't believe it's already the second of April; my hands smell like cocoa mix and buttercream lotion; there are two cats asleep on my bed.
I'm somewhat too warm, but my toes and my nose are cold. I've been finding all sorts of ways to spend my money that I resent earning but enjoy having (and yes I know I could have said no, so it's my own fault and there are people who would kill to have my problems which is why I'm going to change the subject starting now!)
My brother and I have decided to go halvsies on a Wii when he moves back in. We've also both declared that we wish we were in Seattle. (I wish, because spring is much less ugly in Seattle than it is here. And I can ride my scooter 51 out of 52 weeks a year. I don't know about him.)
Having found Pants!, I'm now looking for a bra. This should be amusing... (True Story: the first time I ever went bra-shopping, my mother and I were leaving the lingerie section of a department store, empty-handed. I declared, without even thinking about it, "Well, that was a bust." Yes, we both laughed. I had to get it from somewhere, after all.)
I found the box with my notions and patterns from Seattle in it. The only one of the patterns that still really interests me, at the moment, is the chemise/drawers/corset set. I looked at corsets online last night, just a little, and discovered that Alter Ego has apparently gone under! They had some really interesting corsets, and at ridiculously reasonable prices. (Which may explain why they went out of business.)
I found Yosa, but I can't remember for the life of me the name of the outfit that has the beautiful long-line corsets with the million buttons down the front. I know I have it bookmarked, I just haven't gone looking for it.
I don't know about getting anything pierced. I asked my mother if I should get my nose pierced, and she said she didn't care, unless I was going to get a septum piercing -- if I was, then she was against it. She wasn't too thrilled with the idea of me getting (a?) snakebite(s?), either. I think I may be inclined to pierce myself because I see pictures of lovely people with piercings and am making the erroneous connection between their physical appeal and some bits of metal stuck through their flesh. If I am, then I definitely should NOT get any more holes anywhere beyond my ears. (I've always wanted multiple holes in my ears, particularly in the upper part of the cartilage.)
I definitely want to get my tattoo, though. I'm waiting for my payment for Skaters for that -- I made a promise and I intend to keep it. (Plus it gives me time to find a studio around here. There are a couple not too far from my house, which is pretty nifty.)
I'd like to get one of the new DSi XLs, in burgundy. My trusty old (orginal! first gen!) DS works great, and has loyally stood up to a ridiculous amount of abuse, but the sound is going on it. (And... Okay, so, I'm really drawn by the bigger screens and the whole 'built-in 'net browser' thing.)
Wow, that was a lot of randomly-rambly stuff, wasn't it? Guess I've been saving up. *blinkblink* Okay, time to try getting some sleep.
