giant horse pills
A quick trip to the doctor on wednesday night has confirmed that i do in fact have tonsilitis. he didn't say anthing about removing them, he just put me on two weeks of augmentin which is this extrememly potent anti-biotic that i have to take twice a day. i'm going to have to bring my swiss army knife with me to HITS, because i have to cut the pills in half before i can even think about trying to swallow them. they are the biggest pills i've ever seen. seriously. i'm not kidding. so here i sit, at pharmagistics, an invalid with a wonky tonsil, plowing through the enormous pile of papers on my desk so that hopefully next week there won't be too much for me to do.
and speaking of next week, that's the only week i have left here at pharmagistics before i can go back to the barn!!!!!!!!! i can't wait. one more week. that's going to be the longest week of my life. i'm going to have to find ways of entertaining myself to make it go by faster. like doing funny accents on the phone when i call doctors offices. actually, i probably shouldn't do that. not if i want to have a job next summer. i'll have to be more subtle. uh oh, Mr. Pollock (the CEO) is showing around prospective clients. i should probably go look productive.
