it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

I'm starting kind of an animal collection in my room.  i now have a turtle.  he's really tiny though, he's about the size of a small egg.  his name is mr. rogers but sometimes i call him fred.  i'm kind of worried about him because i've been feeding him regularly and i haven't seen him eat yet.  that's what happened with my fish, sparkle, and he died six days after i got him.  hopefully mr. rogers will get hungry enough to eat his food.  i don't know though.  maybe he doesn't like that kind.  i have two different bottles, so maybe i'll try giving him the other one and see what happens.  maybe he can't find it.  his tank is pretty big.  oh well.  i just don't want him to starve to death.

next weekend i'm going home because my boss wants me to work on saturday.  yay money!  it's not even hard work.  i just have to stay at her house and keep her dogs company.  i think she's going to be in washington.  sunday is cleanup day at the barn, because the weekend after is the western night fundraiser thing that i have to go home for.  anway, long story short, i'm going to make money on saturday.  which is good because i went into the city yesterday and i kind of spent a lot of money.  mostly on cabs.  it was a fun time though.
