I just watched "Incendiary" during the BFI.
No major spoilers.

I still haven't made up my mind what to think of the movie.
I am torn between congratulating the filmmakers for casting Ewan...
... and asking myself why on earth they didn't wait till some would come along...
... having the guts to take the movie as it is and turn into a movie without doing so much toning down?
..
All in all, was very exciting. The director, the producers and some of the cast were there , including Matthew MacFayden. He is way taller than I thought and seemed to be very nice.
When I entered the cinema I practically stood next to Matthew MacFayden.
I can't tell you how to delighted I am to see Ewan on the big screen.
After the showing there was a short Q&A. When talking about her cast the director said that she wanted Ewan from the start and he was the onlz one she could think of to be able to play such a dysfunctional character and still be so winning.
Those are the very adjectives she used.
Somehow I regrett reading the book. I think I would like the movie more if I did not know the dark vision that comes alive in the novel.
Still Ewan is very yummy in this.
So maybe I should not give a damn about the book.
Have a great week, everyone.
