The end of a legacy ...
Brett Favre retired and with his retirement, football just lost some of its heart.
Favre wasn't just an icon, he epitomized everything a good player should be. He was skilled, fast-thinking, humble and good-natured. There isn't any other player out there that has 1/100th the class this man possesses. There will never be another Brett Favre and the thought that we will never again see him on the field laughing or jumping up into Driver's arms or joking with the players on the opposite team or scrambling out of an impossible sack to throw a beautiful pass is devastating.
What a sad, sad day for the game and its fans ...
