Okay, so yesterday I actually got to hand out food samples which meant that I was everyone's best friend for, oh, about two minutes. Not to mention that I was spreading three kinds of awesome cheeses on crackers, so people were getting, like, orgasmic over the food. No, seriously. They were. Never seen so many people get so excited over cheese. Needless to say, that was so much more fun I'm pretty sure I met my quota and then some.
Two interesting facts about Sam's Club: Proportionally, there are an unusual amount of attractive people who work there. There are also an unusual amount of Cowboys fans. I literally saw a t-shirt/hat/jersey about every five minutes or so ... it was impressive. On that same note, I managed to strike up a fun conversation about the Packers with an older man. He did not want my cheese. I found that amusing. Get it? I'm a dork.
Anyway, handing out samples was surprisingly fun. I mean, I got paid to stand there and be nice to people all day ... other than aching feet, I really can't complain and, honestly, I'll probably do it again. Actually, one of the head kitchen ladies told me that I should apply and ... I'm actually considering it. Although (and this is silly) my dream is to work a register. I like pushing buttons. Either way, I think I totally want to work at Sam's Club. Who knew? It's just such a fun atmosphere and almost everyone who actually works there is super rad.
Okay, it sounds like my hamster is getting into all sorts of trouble so I should go check on the little git. He's probably managed to impale himself on something. He's that good.
