American Idle/Idol

Well, looks like we might be getting screwed over by Brandon again. Everything had seemed to be going smoothly with that townhouse that I had mentioned before. It was decently priced, a great location and they seemed rather anxious to sell it with all of the surrounding properties also available for rent. But then I get the call today about certain "concerns" that Lorraine has over Brandon's credit.

This is stupid. I mean, I'm relatively sure that Shaun can clear any concerns that they may have with Brandon's bad credit, but we shouldn't even have to be doing this, considering Shaun's credit is good. I hate having to make all of these accomodations for something that isn't even my problem. Then, of course, there's the issue of Brandon's domestic violence case ... Let's pray to God that doesn't show up. "Yes, my name is Mallory and this is my abusive boyfriend Brandon ..." Doesn't quite work. *I just realized that if you don't know the situation to which I am referring to, those would be the two most confusing paragraphs ever.*

In other news, my life no longer has meaning now that football season is over. Or at least I thought it was time to jump in the river before I realized that, yes, football is over but now we have American Idol season! Five hours a week. So glorious. So far the super boring girls have gotten dumped, so whatever. I really wanted Paul Kim to pull through because his voice is amazing (and because he did "If I ever Fall In Love" in his audition) but that didn't happen. However ... new things to root for and new things to wish death, destruction and failure upon. Life is renewed!
