Yes. I believe that the internet allows us to act more boldly and behave more recklessly due to the fact that we are not amongst our usual friends and peers and therefore we seem to think that we cannot be held responsible for what we do online. For example, a person may feel more bold and strong and begin picking fights with others while in real life, they would know that nothing would stand between them and the person they're goading.
