All Unwritten Prompt #13: Water Slide

"Please, Anna." The voice was pitched soft and low, as if he was trying to approach a cornered and frightened animal. In reality, he was merely trying to persuade his dear fiance to relax a little. Perhaps, he'll even get her to enjoy herself. Yoh smiled widely which only put Anna more on edge.

"Give it a rest, Yoh." Anna said tiredly, her coal black eyes drilled holes into his skull. It was evidently apparent that she wanted him gone from her presence. And no, she definitely wasn't up for some fun. Yoh merely raised the intensity of his smile to frightening heights. "No." She looked away and focused her gaze once more to the crowds before them.

There was silence. Anna smirked, finally Yoh had finally let her be. To be honest, Anna was irritated. She had allowed him one free day from training, yet he still came to harass her? She had even permitted him to go to a stupid amusement park as well! How she hated places like this. All around her, pesky little brats were screaming, running around, and causing chaos. She despised the lot of them, and those mothers! They were so negligent, so -

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanna..."

"What is it now, Yoh?" The blond grit out without casting an eye in his direction.

"Please?"

Anna sighed wearily. He had been returning to her every thirty minutes to wheedle one little word from her. A part of her wanted to continue rejecting him, but it was getting annoying. Her already frayed nerves couldn't last much longer, and they both know it. Finally, she gave him a level stare, "Will you leave me alone if I say yes?" He nodded quickly. It was quite a humorous sight and she was pretty sure his head would pop off if he continued to do so. Anna sighed once more. "Fine, Just this once."

"Yes!" He grabbed her hand and began tugging her along. "This way, Anna! Manta's already saved us a place in line!" She didn't pull her hand free although she hated being dragged around like an incompetent twit. He didn't let her go.

"Yoh," Anna whispered. "Are you sure this is okay?"

Yoh merely smiled - his usual, lazy and carefree grin, and nodded. "It's great, Anna! Really fun! Just go!" He paused, and his grin turned into a smirk - so much like Hao. "Or are you scared?"

Immediately, Anna sharpened. "Shut your trap, you idiot." Anna glanced back at the silly ride he had gotten her to try. "Do you really wish to have me jump down a tube full of water from who knows how far above the ground?"

"You're not going to die, Anna." Yoh said once more, his warm hands pushing her shoulders gently to one of those tubes. "Besides, I'm sure Ren would gladly turn you into a kyonshi. You can't escape from me yet!"

"Wha-, kyonshi? Is that -?"

"It's your turn, Anna. You're holding up the line!" Yoh said. Before she knew it, her legs were tucked in and she was barely able to keep balance by holding the railings on the top of the tube.

"Yoh, I'm not sure -"

"It's alright! I'll be right down!"

"Yoh!"

"Bye Anna, have fun!"

"YOH! I'm not - AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Sporting a rather unbecoming black eye, Yoh pouted forlornly. His fiance had been soaking wet and quite grumpy when he finally arrived at the bottom of the slide after her. Although his eye stung like crazy and was in desperate need of some ice, it was well worth it to hear Anna scream like that.

Now they were both walking, side by side, and in silence as per their custom. "It...wasn't so bad, right?" Surprisingly, he was the first to speak up. He had always enjoyed the water slide as a child...She didn't reply. Yoh sighed, he was going to catch hell when they got home, no doubt. He shouldn't have pushed her into something she wasn't comfortable with and now -

She grabbed onto his hand and began dragging him back. "Anna?"

"Let's go again, Yoh."

Yoh beamed, "Okay."
