but actually if u think abt it, this is the 1st time that actually affected a mass of black ppl in a while. in the past couple of yrs, they've been hitting alabama and mississippi and florida and the only peeps u would see would b white ppl.

But you said that they said rita and katrina were karmic retribution. So regardless of the fact that the other hurricanes affected white ppl although it wasnt only white ppl affected in previous hurricanes, it still doesnt make sense to say that these two were karmic retribution.

Well that's not how you presented the arguement. You said nothing about that being yur mother's defense. and your choice of words leads me to think that it was your defense. So before you go sayin something that you dont believe in make sure you make it known to everyone else.
