The Pennsylvania Rundown
Just a rundown of what's been going on w/ me since I got back very late in the evening on Monday August 27th.
Monday Aug. 27
That day was spent riding the train back to PA. There was this totally hot guy on board & I think it deserves it's own entry, which I'll write & back date later.
Tuesday Aug. 28
The Chinese Chicken
I went out & ate at the Chinese buffet w/ my mom. It was fun cause neither of us had been in a while & I spent time telling her about different stuff that happened in MD.
Thursday Aug. 30
Building Words & Boarding Buildings
I helped my dad half ass repair the garage at my mom's house. i.e. boarding stuff up so kids can't get in there & smoke & skip school. I also played Scrabble w/ my mom. It was fun but she also drove me nuts making up words that ended up actually being words when we looked them up.
Friday Aug. 31
Sick of Dentists
I woke up w/ a craptastic cold that I'd caught from my mother whilst playing Scrabble w/ her for a couple of hours the night before. I called the dentist where I'd had my exam in July to set up my root canal & the dentist who does them left the practice. I called another place that was sort of my second choice & they didn't have the equipment to do them yet. Then I finally called the dentist I used to go to as a kid & set up 2 appointments, but they're not until October, which sucks. I will not let my teeth fuck up any Halloween related activities! I'd already agreed to go to late night bingo w/ my parents so I still went that night. It lasted from like 10:30PM to 1:30AM. Sometimes you get a younger group at late night bingos, but not that one, which sorta sucked. When we were leaving the caller told everyone to drive safely cause the troopers were out since it was labor day weekend. Someone said "Yeah, cuz we're all drunk", which cracked some people up.
Sunday Sept. 2
Flea Market
I went to look around at the flea market. It was pretty dead. I did manage to buy some cheap trashy Harlequin books. Then on my way out I spotted a brand new renaissance costume that I was able to buy for $5. If we end up going to the Renaissance Festival this year I can wear it or atleast have it around as an extra Halloween costume.
Tuesday Sept. 4
Hospital
I was at bingo w/ my mom & she became very ill, so I took her home. Eventually we took her to the hospital. I'll write a full blog about this later when it won't make me so upset. She's okay right now.
Wednesay Sept. 5
I accompanied my mother to bingo cause I'm worried about her health. We also went grocery shopping & I was checking out at the register next to the cashier I like. I kept bumping into him. He was flustered & dropping stuff, point for me, ha ha.
