I love weekends at Arcadia. Weekends...for the most part...are 99.9 % guaranteed to bring good times.
Friday night Bill took me to see Wicked on its national tour in downtown Philly (because he had gotten tickets for us for my Valentine's present eee!!). And I absolutely loved it of course. Would see it again in a heartbeat.
Then Saturday during the day I got paid 25 bookstore dollars for sitting around and eating catered food because it was an open house for accepted seniors who had won scholarships to go to Arcadia.
And Saturday afternoon we sat around and watched the movie The Labyrinth with David Bowie which I hadn't seen since like 6th grade. Totally rad.
And Saturday night I got to go see Cori in her community production of Beauty and the Beast and she was awesome as A Fruit Platter.
And today was lovely, sleeping in, and then taking another nap on top of that and then just kinda bonding with people over another SPB event, Locals Night, and then the Student Leadership Recognition Night.
I have two long weeks ahead of me. Very long weeks. I'm sure I'll freak out at some point. This is your pre-warning: Angsty livejournal entries ahead. It's gonna be a bumpy ride folks. I hope the weather gets really really nice and stays really nice. That would just be peachy.
