So I just read about this psychology study where these people kept a gratitude journal for two months and they tracked the changes that it made in their lives. Apparently most ended up feeling physically better and more energized, etc. Basically a gratitude journal is just a simple task of writing a very short list, like 3 things, every day, of just little things or situations that you were thankful for that day. Just things that made you happy. Something that put a smile on your face. I think it's a great idea, because sometimes we too often forget the small things. So I'm gonna start doing it. Every day. Whether I write a real entry or not, I'm gonna type out at least three things that I'm grateful for that day.

Here we go.

Gratitude January 24, 2006
1. My adventure with Cori to go outside and play in the thunderstorm...that ended in us running in a straight line to Luke and Bill's apartment and staying there for over 4 hours.
2. The Honors Program. I just realized how close so many of us are...at least the ones that are in the same classes, and that even the professors know we're close. I feel so lucky to have found these people and to have them in my life.
3. White cheddar anything. Today I had white cheddar ramen and white cheddar cheezits. Both were amazing.
