Looks like it's been a couple months since I've been on here... lots of big important things have happened in the life of Leanne, as well as small things, but since it had been so long I will stick to big events...
I QUIT MY JOB
Yes, that's right, I am no longer watiressing at Veneti's in Langley. In fact, this is one of the only Sundays in over 3 1/2 years where I don't have to go to work! I think I've taken about five sundays off in the several years... so this is HUGE! Veneti's was my second job ever - started at 16 and now its acutally over. Feels good :)
I GRADUATED FROM WCCMT
Friday was the last final exam I will have to write for a very long time. My case presentation was in mid july (which I ended up acing!) then the last clinic day was on the first, then the last school day was friday where I proceeded to get drunk and belligerent at a greek restaurant on Columbia in new west! It's weird I won't see a lot of those people ever again, but on the other hand that fact allowed me to get embarrassingly trashed ending up at "fever" a night club i swore i would never enter (the alcohol wooed me in) grabbing a good three people's boobs throughout the night(one of them a teacher!?!) yelling, dancing, and grinding with classmates and teachers. ack! I couldn't remember clearly how I got to Mac's when he asked me the next morning - but oh well I'm fucking A COLLEGE GRADUATE!!!
SHAMBHALA IS IN LESS THAN A WEEK
after much deliberation and confusion the days off that were needed (marti's) were obtained - figured out who is going who is not, transportation is fine ahhh a big weight is lifted although I'm still pretty pumped and much more prep is needed, which reminds me...
who else is going? I am getting a couple walkie talkies from friends for meeting/finding ppl there, but if there's more groups that want to meet up I can get three more in North Van or e-mail me with a time/place. My friends and I will be at DJ Lorin's first set for sure, and the freestylers three hour set in the forest.
aight marti's here so I am off for now, but attempts will be made to actually check this site more than once every month or so!!!
