Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it, and Happy Movies And Chinese Food Day to those who don't.
Me, I am just really tired of cutting and peeling chestnuts.
Off to family dinner now, with Kiska, remaining cookies from last night, yummy but labour-intensive cabbage/chestnut dish, large bone for Kiska's Xmas treat, and extreme caution, due to the streets outside being a fucking skating rink. I think I would like a word with whoever decided it was a good idea to have four major snowstorms in a week, followed by a day of mild temperatures and pouring rain, followed by freezing again.
