Off to the Evil Empire!

Well, this weekend is the biennial family reunion for my mother's side of the family, so I'm taking off to the US for four days. I had originally thought I'd just be going for the weekend, because I'm catching a ride with my sister who has a regular 9 to 5 sort of job, but it turns out she's taking two days off work and so we're leaving first thing
