Words
The lovely tehprincessj gave me five words that she associated with me. As such, I am supposed to divulge my feelings towards each word.
1) Markers
The tools my my trade, so to speak. When I was younger, I always used to use just pencils for my art. I really struggled to find a medium which suited me I've never got on with paint (with one notable exception in the form of gouache) or pastels. I went through a phase of using inks and then gouache paint. But, thanks to some inspiring art of dA, I brought some markers from ebay and the rest, as they say, is history!
2) JakeandElwood
The Blues Brothers! What else is there to say? The coolest double act to ever grace the face of the earth. I adore their music, I adore the film. At one point, my little brother and I decided that we were going to get our knuckles tattooed like them, with him getting 'Elwood' and me getting 'Jake' since he's the tall thin one and I'm the short doughy one with curly hair. :)
3) Newspaper
I like to keep abreast of current affairs, especially in the field of politics. Since I study history and politics at university, the newspaper is essential. My newspaper of choice is the Daily Mail. I'll often be found behind it with a cup of tea and a biscuit, with Jeremy Kyle or Homes Under The Hammer on the TV in the background; my perfect morning.
4) KOTOR
Some of my favourite games ever. Also the inspiration behind a large proportion of my artwork.
5) UK
'RULE BRITANNIA, BRITANNIA RULES THE WAVES!' I am an extremly proud English woman. My country and its great history mean an awful lot to me, and as such, I despise what this country has become. But I won't go into all that... I could go into whay I love my country so much, but that would make this far too long. :P
