The Charles Legacy 2.4

Jun 29, 2010 04:16

Hello readers... It's been a while. I am so sorry for not updating the legacy for so so long! I have been very busy with my uni studies and life in general that I haven't really had time to do any writing. I have been playing the Charles for a bit but I have noticed that it is kinda getting boring. I do, however, have a lot of snapshots in store as I do play the legacy one generation ahead of the story. I am hoping that things will get interesting for generation three or I'll just have to step it up and take charge! Now let's continue on with the story, shall we?

“I love you... but I am not ready to marry again. I still love Tina even though she is no longer with me.” Chester told Marylena over the phone. Chester liked Marylena enough to consider her as his wife but the thought of marriage only bought back memories of Tina. He could never bring himself to replace her.

“It’s okay...” she responded trying to hold back her sadness.

After listening to her words, Chester heard a series of beep. She hung up on him. With a vast amount of guilt, Chester placed the phone on its base before he resorted to tears.

As Kaylynn stood in the snow admiring the winter weather, Wilhelm arrives home from a busy day of school.

As Wilhelm placed his homework in the lounge room, he noticed that Chester was nowhere in sight. Since Eileen was staying at Aurora’s house and Andrea was still at school, Wilhelm realised that he had the house to himself. That meant that he could do what he liked. There was one thing that Wilhelm would love to do at the moment. He couldn’t help but grin at the thought of it.

All he had to do was make sure that the maid was no longer present. Luckily, Kaylynn has just finished her duties of cleaning and was more than ready to go home.

As soon as the maid van left, Wilhelm called his girlfriend and invited her over. Even though, he hasn’t spoken to her for an hour, Wilhelm missed her and was eager to see her again.

As soon as he saw her, Wilhelm rushed to give Viola a kiss. Wilhelm felt like he was reunited to his love after being separated for so long. It was a wonderful feeling for him knowing that she was now in his arms again.

Viola felt the same. As they stood in the snow, their hands intertwined with each other, never wanting to let go.

Moments later, Wilhelm released her hands and Viola felt warm and fluffy. She had never felt that way about anyone before. As Wilhelm gazed into Viola’s eyes, her face reddened to a shade of pink.

Wilhelm felt it was the right time to give her a cuddle. As his arm reached out for her, Viola, who was lost in his gaze, was rather surprised by his gesture and jumped back before he could touch her.

“What are you doing!?” she asked as her cheeks reddened to a shade of red.

“I just want to hold you and never let you go babe…” Wilhelm replied. Embarrassed, Viola let out a nervous chuckle to hide her slight discomfort of Wilhelm’s affection. She wasn’t use to being treated so lovingly. Wilhelm wrapped his arms around her and lifted her up squeezing her softly. He wanted to express his love for her but at the same time, offer her comfort and warmth.

Gently releasing her, Wilhelm gazed into her eyes and smiled joyously. At that moment, he was the happiest boy in the world as he was with the person he loved the most.

Viola couldn't keep her eyes off his.

His gazing eyes were alluring and deep providing her a warm beautiful feeling of love.

Viola and Wilhelm considered sharing their future together. They talked about finishing school, getting married and having children. At that moment, they felt that they belonged to each other and that as long as they loved each other, nothing in the world could change the way they thought about their future.

One obstacle that the loving couple had to face, however, was Crystal Spring’s shaky economy where prices of the good things in life would often be expensive due to the lack of value of money or the lack of employment within the suburb.

Viola had her doubts when it came to money but Wilhelm was optimistic about the future of the economy. He tried to reassure her and told her what he believed would happen to the economy in the future. He believed that by the time they got married, the economy will become stable. Even if not, he would work hard in the future to have more than enough to fulfill their wants and needs.

Viola didn’t buy his reassurance; she knew and saw him as one that lacked the capability to be a hard worker. At school, he would always be the one to get into trouble due to his laid back nature, social prowess and his playful personality. She stated that for him to change he would need to grow up.

“What do you mean I’m not grown up? I’m taller than you, honey! You’re the one that has a lot of growing up to do.” Wilhelm responding teasingly to her remark.

“You know… if I ever become famous, I’d be ashamed to let the world know that you are my boyfriend! You can be so immature and embarrassing sometimes.” Viola teased back.

“That’s fine with me; I will just follow you around, wearing a T-Shirt that says “Property of Wilhelm Charles” with an arrow pointing to you.” Wilhelm joked.

After a long conversation, the couple made out before Wilhelm escorted Viola into the house.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was having a discussion about ghosts with his school friend, Chandler Platz. Chandler didn’t believe in ghosts while Sebastian did.

Sebastian claimed that ghosts do truly exist and told him about his mother, the woman he never had the chance to know.

“My mother paid us a visit on the same night Eileen’s club opened for the first time. She was walking around upstairs scaring me and Andrea. She died when I was a baby and daddy never told me what happened.” Sebastian explained.

“Hey… what is this?” Viola thought as she admired the DJ booth and examined it. Afterwards, Viola browsed through the CD collection.

“Hmmm…. Evacuate the dance floor… I love that song,” she mumbled to herself.

Viola picked up the CD, blew off the dust from it and placed it on the CD player. After the lever was descended, the loud music was heard by the entire household.

Andrea frowned at the song that was being played on the speakers of the DJ booth.

“I hate this song!” she thought.

“Babe… could you please turn it down? The neighbors are complaining.” Wilhelm said as he walked out of the kitchen to witness Viola playing with the DJ booth.

Hours later, Chester came home from work sadly. Marylena didn’t meet up with him during the day. For the whole day, Chester worked on his bank robbery plan by himself. The task was quite a challenge as he’d often think about Marylena causing him to lose concentration. He felt sad for her, sad for not seeing her and for upsetting her and deceiving her throughout their relationship.

Fortunately, the children were not aware of Chester’s relationship with Marylena. Despite their treatment towards her, they have only considered Marylena as Chester’s co-worker and friend.

As the beginning of his elder stage was drawing closer, Bailey has grown to be aggressive. As Andrea played with him, Bailey viciously scratched her arm causing for it to bleed.

Chester wasn’t there to treat Andrea’s wound. He was too busy doing his home duties. Being time poor, Chester didn’t even have time to bathe himself. He was so exhausted from work that he didn’t even care about his personal hygiene.

An hour later, Chester finished his household chores and helped stop the bleeding of Andrea’s arm. Sebastian went upstairs to play cops and robbers while Wilhelm kissed his girlfriend good night. As the two children played cops and robbers, Wilhelm went upstairs to take a bath.

After taking a bath, Wilhelm heard the doorbell rang as he walked out of the bathroom. Wilhelm answered the door to greet the guest. It was Marsha. Wilhelm was extremely excited to see her as it was the first time since his transfer to Sim City Academy.

It was true that Marsha had a crush on Wilhelm. She thought he was cute and nice. For years she had hoped that Wilhelm had felt the same for her. She even hoped that Wilhelm would choose her to be his girlfriend. As she looked into his eyes, she felt a strong feeling of passion. She wished that Wilhelm would confess his love to her and date her. At that moment, Marsha’ relationship with Wilhelm would have begun. If only he didn’t move schools, if only he didn’t meet Viola, perhaps Wilhelm would have been hers.

Wilhelm escorted Marsha to the lounge room and told her to take a seat. Marsha was too astounded by the changes of the furnishing of the lounge room to take a seat. A lot has changed since she last saw Wilhelm. Wilhelm went to cook a meal for Marsha while his sister, Eileen greeted her and complimented her on her good looks.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was getting ready for bed after a long hour of completing his homework. Like his mother, he had a habit of making his bed before he lied in it.

After dinner, Marsha explored the rest of the house to see if there were any changes. When she was on the top floor, she saw Bailey and played with him.

While Marsha played with Bailey, Wilhelm was downstairs setting up the DJ booth for a party that the Charles has hosted. Since the customers planned their second visit to the Charles estate, there was to be a lot of guest attending the party as they all planned on showing up in groups.

After setting up the DJ booth, Wilhelm took up painting to pass the time. Wilhelm wasn’t sure what to paint at first then later decided to capture the mood of the party. He started his work by painting the lights.

An hour later, the party started and guests started showing up to have a good time. Eileen and Marisa Bendett were the first to dance as more and more guests were arriving.

Surprisingly, Sandy Bruty showed up to the party and shared her story of herself hiding from Allyn Thompson and the law.

After hiding for a long time, Allyn Thompson managed to find out the whereabouts of Sandy Bruty. The police was called and Allyn pressed charges. Sandy went through a series of court trial and was found guilty of conning Allyn Thompson and causing her bankruptcy.

Sandy spent three years in prison and two years doing community service for the crime she committed.

Hours later, the party died down and the club closed for the night. Chester lied in bed thinking of all the women in his life. Feeling that Tina was the greatest woman in his life made him believe that he would never love again.

Wilhelm was also thinking about his love life. He thought about his girlfriend and the time he spent with her.

Although he enjoyed her company, he began to wonder if she was his one true love.

Eileen could only think about her future.

She was looking forward to going to college with her best friend Aurora. For months, Eileen and Aurora spent most of their time together studying. They wanted the best grades they could get to get into a good college.

Eileen then thought about her mother and wondered if life would have been different if she was still alive.

One morning, Chester spent the day revising his notes on Sim City bank. He spent years taking notes about Sim City bank and had managed to write everything he needed to know about Sim City Bank so he could rob the bank successfully.

Hours later, the children returned home from another day of school. Andrea bought her friend, Elle home. As soon as they stepped off the bus, Andrea and Elle played a game of hide and seek.

Andrea was very good at hiding. She knew the best hiding places and has managed to keep herself hidden for a long time. Elle spent hours looking for Andrea, but Andrea was out of sight.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was outside enjoying the snow. He took the opportunity to create a snow angel then moved on to build a snow man

Nobody in the family was aware that Sebastian was standing outside in the snow as they were inside the house.

One of Wilhelm’s friend, who was walking past the estate on his way home saw Sebastian standing outside freezing and rushed into the house to tell Wilhelm. Wilhelm, shocked by his friend’s words rushed out to help Sebastian.

But he was too late. The social worker was already there to help.

Chester begged the social worker not to take his children and promised them that he would be a better father. Having no interest in hearing what Chester had to say, the social worker reprimanded Chester for his negligence and took Sebastian and Andrea away. They felt that a father who let their son out in the snow unsupervised was incompetent of being a good parent.

The story of the freezing of Sebastian became front page news of every news paper in the city. Many residents were shocked at the incompetence Chester demonstrated as a father.

The story became the hot topic amongst the guests of Eileen’s club. Journalist often paid visits to the club to talk to members of the family. Some of them even tried to interview Chester.

Weeks later, the story became old news and Chester was no longer hassled by the media. He was able to discuss his plans with his other partner in crime, Amin Sims about how they could rob the Sim City Bank.

They made plans of what to wear on the night, ways they could get into the bank and all the obstacles they would have to face.

Despite the bad publicity the Charles’ had to face, Eileen’s business was still running smoothly. In fact, Eileen’s business grew as the bad publicity faded away.

As Eileen’s business grew, Eileen was also growing too. She started developing feelings for people of the opposite sex and had a crush on one of her male classmates, Justin Kody. Eileen was quick to respond to her feelings and has made friends with Justin.

Wilhelm continued to live his life the way he had lived it. Making friends, getting up to mischief and slacking off during class. He made more friends each day and kept inviting them to his house. Nothing in his life had changed except for one thing…

…and that was his girlfriend. Wilhelm had broken up with Viola to be with his best friend Marsha. He loved Viola but felt that Marsha was more of the girl for him.

Chester’s partner in crime, Amin showed up to his house for the first time. For hours, they revised the plan together. The night they had planned to rob the bank was drawing closer.

Hours later, Amin left and Chester spent the night working out. His working out became his nightly routine. He knew that he needed to be fit to do the mission successfully.

Then came the night of the robbery.

Chester and Amin successfully completed their mission and their share of rewards was divided among themselves. No traces of the two criminals were left at the scene of the crime and the police were doing their best to find the culprit.

Unfortunately for the police, it was unlikely that the culprit would be found no matter how close they were to them.

After months of searching, the police had given up in finding the culprit of the robbery. The loss of many sims in Crystal Springs and nearby suburbs has caused sims to visit the Charles estate to drown their sorrows through dancing.

Many people around Crystal Springs were bought together as they all suffered the loss from the robbery.

Almost a year had passed since the robbery had occurred, and people’s lives were starting to get better as the economy was recovering to a more stable state.

Knowing that his future was going to be bright, Wilhelm couldn’t help but be happy. He showed his happiness by playing pirates in the bath tub.

With some of Chester’s money, Eileen was able to go to the best college she could ever go to. After years of hard work, Eileen was more than eager to start her new life at college.
