Savannah Grace - unofficial birth announcement - extended version
Savannah was born Friday, October 5th, at 5:21am after a long night of waiting for hospital staff to get things together. The moment was absolutely awesome, and the hardest part only lasted about 25 minutes. She is 20 inches and weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce at birth. There were no complications, but who knew breastfeeding would be so hard??? She's starting to nurse better, and we're praying she is getting enough and supplementing with formula because they are worried about Jaundice with the little output she has.
We are home and doing pretty well. The nights are hard, and Matt is back to third shift. Please keep us in your prayers.
