things are going

Hey Hey Hey! The new house is amazing. It is an hour ride to and about an hour and a half back from work, BUT I come home to a new home, with lots of space, a loving husband and adoring cat. So the ride is bearable. If only the job were too... but you have to make a living right? Friday will be my oficial 1 year here, although I started actually in April. And though they promised I'd be making about 3,000 more by December of last year, and have yet to review me... and I highly doubt a review will be coming, as the owner is on maternity leave herself.

Anyway, everything has a place in the house now. There are a few pictures to hang on the walls yet, and lots of broken stuff to fix. But we are set up to live comfortably for now. I'm so excited to start working on the nursery. I'm at 29 weeks and 3 days. Which means, little Savannah Grace will be here in 11 weeks. Matthew said "I can't wait to see her." It made me cry, he's going to be a great dad. The doctor is telling me that everything is going healthy, and this is an easy pregnancy, so that is assuring! I was certain that I'd develope gestational diabetes, as I thought I had diabetes even before becoming pregnant. At the beginning my blood pressure was high as well, but it's under control now with no medication or extra direction. I just gave up worrying about work! LOL. The belly is getting big, my weight is unchanging, and she kicks hard. All of these are good signs I'm told. We're enrolled for a labor class in late August, the day after we go to a Packer game!!!

Last weekend, Jenny and Lisa and I went to a movie. It was really fun, then we came back and I showed them around the house while Matt cooked us dinner and we watched the wedding DVD. It is so nice to have friends that truly care about you. We plan on doing much more of this because we've been neglecting eachother for too long now. They got a more intimate impression of Matthew since we weren't in a big group like usual when it's hard to get to know someone. And Matthew enjoyed it too. I love it when people get along!
