I can't promise a very good entry here, as I have to go to work tomorrow morning so I need to get to bed.
So life. How has that been? Life is going well! Summer is here and basically nearly over. I don't know that I will make it home this summer, which I think will be hard for my mom but I imagine she kind of knew it would happen one year.
I've traveled quite a bit this summer, pretty much for work but making vacations out of them. The first place I went to was Princeton, NJ and Philadelphia. I used to live in Philly, so it was nice to return. It was nice that Jason could come with me so I could share a part of my life with him. He got to meet my friends, Krystle and Nicole so that was really neat. We ate at Penang, of course and ate at Reading Terminal a lot. While there, I saw my ex-boyfriend, Brian, and that was really important to me. I'm starting to come to the realization that there are some people who had (or currently do) meant a lot to me in my life who I will never see again.
The next place I went to was Washington DC and Virginia. I got to see Jorge. It was really nice because it reminded me of a time when he and I used to talk almost every day on the phone (I really, really don't do that). It makes me dream again of living on the same street with all of my best friends. I got a speeding ticket while driving to Virginia. I told my mom, and she asked, "Why?!?"...to which I responded, "I was speeding!" Anyhow, DC still remains one of my favorite cities.
Then I went to Columbus, Ohio. I fell in love with the campus and some of the surrounding area. I went to this ice cream place, Jeni's, and it was "daring." I had ice cream w/goat cheese and sweet corn. It was really good.
Also, I did work while I was on those trips...but I feel like all I talk about is work.
Lately I've also been very into baseball. Specifically the Twins but sometimes the Philly's when I want some small ball. But seriously into baseball. Summer is great.
I think that's as much as I can write right now without falling asleep on the keyboard.
Again, summer is great!
