one of those songs that no one knows the words to, eh? i love it's a wonderful life where they're all attempting to sing it though. it's amazing how the holiday times really is a time for people to contact each other. the assinine amount of holiday greeting cards that come to our house on a daily basis is amazing. i heard today from two friends from ireland one from poland and and old blast from the past, my friend virginia from pennsylvania. funny how important friendships really seem to defy the odds of time and distance and when you just reach out to say "hi" it's such a possible connection to remake. the odd part about it is that it becomes such a huge compliment to me - the fact that someone from "way back when" wants to just check up on me, or just say hi, or let me know that they're ok...chances are, i've wondered about them, myself. or i'm the one trying to keep the connection. or something of that sort. it's a busy time of year too. and it's a family time of year. i'm so very happy that my grandmother finally fell in love. puppy love, as though she's sixteen again. no one more deserving than an 80 year old angel. i'm going to be twenty soon. days, yet. i really don't like this computer here at home, and i use it much less than when i'm at school. tonight is very clear - the black black winter night sky is just iced up with the stars and the crescent moon...a perfect hot tub night, i'd say. tuck in the toes, sweet dreaming, and so many sweet words to linger on...
