(no subject)
There's nothing I can say that will really convey how amazing my break was, but I'll try.
It was really wonderful to see my family and the friends I managed to get in touch with. I got to spend time with my honorary family. They mean so much to me, and it was wonderful to spend the holiday with them. Christmas Eve night at Grandma's church was so beautiful, it was nearly the end of the service before it hit me how tired I was from driving all day.
I also got to spend time with my brother and his family. My nephews are 5 and 9 now, and seem more grown up every time I see them. Nolan is nearly at a sixth grade reading level, and he's only in third grade. Cole is little but feisty :) They're both adorable kids, and full of energy. They tired me out in mere hours when I took them out for the day. I'm not sure I'm ready to chase after kids full time.
I spent the majority of my time with Jason. We shopped and ate and watched several movies, basically just enjoyed spending time together. It was amazing. We had lunch with his parents, which went really well. His cats like me. I think he likes me, or something ;) It was hard to come back up here, but we'll see each other soon.
My classes start a week from Tuesday. I'm ready to go back. I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow, if I'm not too sick. I can't believe this is my last semester of school. My entire life is about to change. I guess it's time to start planning my next move.
