Interviewed by
bytheseaside 1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better! If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate.
3. Please update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Please include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, ask them five questions.
Ok, here goes.
1. If you could go anywhere, be anyone, and do anything, you would...?
Honestly? I would stay in New Zealand, be the best doctor/vet over here and really make a difference. Help people who can't help themselves. The impulsive part of my brain is screaming that I'd go and see David Tennant, John Barrowman and the Doctor Who crew in Cardiff but I know that the novelty would wear off after a while. Although, getting to know them would be an amazing experience. =]
2. What do you like best about New Zealand?
I love the way people actually care. Everyone is so much friendlier over here, people in shops ask how you are and actually wait for an answer. They ask about your weekend and actually care. Neighbours are more out going, and coming from England, I really notice the difference. It's not that they aren't friendly there, it's just more of a together omcmunity here. I love it.
What do you miss most about England, aside from specific people?
*Thinks* Europe. The way you can travel across to France or somewhere for a day and then just catch the channel tunnel or ferry back the next day. The fact that the whole of Europe is at your fingertips and you can go to different places every year because the cost to travel is so much less. I haven't seen that much of this side of the hemisphere so having Australia and Asia this close is good too. I'm looking forward to saving up and taking a trip over there some time.
4. Favourite school subect? Why?
I'm one of those people who love school. It's hard to pick a single subject because I'm really into all the subjects I've picked this year and am enjoying learning about them. I'd have to say English though. I have a fantastic class and my teacher is really funny. I think the teacher you have really impacts on whether you enjoy the subject or not because if you sonnect with the teacher you'll listen more to what they're teaching and therefore learn a lot more. I think my English teacher and I have a good relationship, and I look forward to going to her classes.
5. Greatest dream?
Making a difference. Being able to do something that will help others and something that I find enjoyable. I'm not sure what that is yet, but I'm sure I'll figure it out before University. Hopefully. Maybe. *ahem*
There we go! Phew. That was fun.
