POST.

No. Urgh. IDK. My life. I am very, very busy except when I am at work when I should be busy and could be busy but instead to do ridiculous things like create a tumblr called "Fuck Yeah Bruce BoxleitnerAll in all the things that are making me busy are important things. Taking care of good friends (karma!). Making sure my boyfriend ( Read more... )

but what if it's HIV testing that they do EVERY TIME they draw blood unless you read all the fine print on your doctor paperwork and explicitly opt-out of it?

SB 1070 is that Arizona anti-immigration law that was like "brown people need to carry around proof of citizenship or we're going to deport them" (and sometimes even then). There are going to be some look-alikes in Texas this session.

SOMEONE AT WORK MADE THIS JOKE. Tell David, he will like it: Maybe the Texas legislature should meet every 140 years for 2 days instead.
HAHA, it's true. :(

Sunday brunch could be delightful! Keep yours blocked off unless something COMPLETELY WONDERFUL comes up.

Healing is very important! I'm proud of you. To improve my skating, I went skating at Whole Foods for like 40 minutes and I didn't fall down at all. Thank you very much.

TRON:
1)I REALLY LOVE FLYNN'S FIREPLACE, IT REMAINS MY SINGLE FAVORITE SET PIECE IN THE MOVIE
2)The dialogue was really bad. It was Attack of the Clones bad, and I am sad about that.
3)I NEED TO SEE IT AGAIN BECAUSE THAT GUY AND HIS DUMB IPHONE. The Universe feels my pain about not having had a good viewing experience. The other day Liz specifically told me "You need to see Tron again." (and then didn't invite me to go see it with you THE NEXT DAY until after I was like "ARE YOU MAKING SECRET TRON PLANS WITHOUT ME?" by which time it was too late because I had other plans!)(hmph!)

BE GOOD JOHNNY WEIR. What day of the week is that? Maybe, maybe. I'd need to watch Season 1, which I think I have somewhere on my old computer. I'm kind of glad Fringe moved to Fridays because I'm going to have to start going to sleep at like 8pm on Thursdays to get to work on time on Friday.

Oh, I don't know his thoughts on that type of HIV testing. At any rate, he has no ability to affect that policy unless he advocates to cut the funding for mandatory HIV testing to the point where they decide, "Ah, screw it, let's make it easier to opt out." He remains not evil.

We have discussed immigration at length, but that doesn't sound like anything he'd agree to. In fact I think we talked about how some other type of mass ID thing was ridiculous.

Yay! I'm glad you went skating! I may organize another skate expedition for my upcoming biiiiirthday. So you'll have more opportunities to fall if you come!

BRUNCH. I think this could be a totally cute idea. Particularly with mimosas.

1) This movie had flawless art direction.
2) I feel like most of the bad dialogue was Garrett Hedlund's fault. He reeeeeeeally cannot deliver sassy action one liners well. The rest is not really that bad! Sometimes.
3) Aw, I didn't know you were willing to see it again. Well. You should really see it again! I only ended up seeing it twice more because in both instances I didn't pay. My sister bought me the ticket to the second one, and my gift card from work bought me the third. It holds up well! And there would be way less douches with iPhones. Valeah has been liking pictures of Bruce B on tumblr. Maybe she could be talked into it?

January 25th is apparently a Tuesday. So maybe it'll be on Tuesdays. Be Good Johnny Weir is very enjoyable if you ignore the part where he spends four years getting ready to not win an Olympic medal. This season will be very fun because it'll just be him doing what he wants! And as it is reality TV you don't have to worry about catching up on the plot!

Oh yeah your biiiirthday! I can't wait.

1) It really was a good looking movie.
2) come on. No one could deliver "warm... radiant... BEAUTIFUL." convincingly. and don't you dare besmirch Garrett Hedlund. When are we going to see Country Strong? Midnight opening night?
3) I've been meaning to see it again, but I've seen like 8 other movies instead in the meantime. ALSO I kind of want to watch the Rifftrax of the original. Valeah could be talked into anything, I intend to talk her into going to see Never Say Never. But I don't think she even needs talking into to go see Tron again.

Aww, I didn't think about the secret hindsight tragedy of BGJW. NOW I'M DEPRESSED. Okay, I'm in for January 25th!

I had to talk myself out of getting the Gold package birthday party (18 cupcakes, 3 liters of soda, and your own section of ice! I think you have to provide your own balloons though.)

1) With really good looking people that should kiss.
2) I like Garrett Hedlund and all but not enough to sit through Gwyneth Paltrow singing because there's something so self-satisfied about her singing, IDK!
3) I want to see Tangled but I doubt I ever will at this point. I might be seeing True Grit this Friday. I need to see I Love You, Phillip Morris, but will it ever actually happen? IDK!

Never say never. LOLS.

SWEET! Johnny will be so happy to see you.

um that sounds amazing. YOUR OWN SECTION OF ICE, CANDI. Cupcakes and coke are okay, but there's nothing like your own smooth, smooth section of ice.
(I AM ALLERGIC TO BALLOONS SO PLEASE INFORM ME IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THEM FLOATING AROUND.)

2) Yeah, gd Gwyneth Paltrow. I would be like 400% more interested in that movie if it was someone else. Although Gwyneth Paltrow kind of gives me flashes of Old Taylor Swift so I'm going to pretend that's what's happening. Even though she's an alcoholic.
3) TRUE GRIT IS AWESOME GO SEE IT. I need to see ILY, Phillip Morris also! But I think I will wait to rent or pirate it. I don't feel like spending ticket money on it.
