Why can't I be one of those people that goes on runs to reduce stress?

My personality quirks have decided to take a new and interesting turn. I'm really stressed about work right now for reasons I never got around to explaining. Basically I'm up for a promotion. So is another girl. And we're in direct competition with each other. In August we'll find out who got it. Basically, she and I have talked and whoever gets it ( Read more... )

D: urgh, good luck with the promotion thing, dude.

I WANT COOKIES.

As for cubicle decoration... well, I do live in a pretty oppressive cubicle with basically no stuff up on the walls at all, but postcards would be nice? Basically my decor style at home is "STUFF ON THE WALLS. LOTS AND LOTS OF IT." Although obviously you should just given in and put pictures of Johnny and Stephane up already. You are a SRS BSNS FAN OF THE SPORT!

My cookies are pretty good, ngl! Like Stephane I want to be all "I'm so sorry for you that you can't have my pancakes cookies."

I'm usually a minimalist but I'm not about to create a faux office with like real hanging pictures and silk flowers or something (much as I DESPERATELY WANT AN OFFICE). So yeah basically I think a bunch of little things are probably going to be my best bet yeah.

::sighs:: I wish I lived in Asia and could purchase figure skating art books. And yes, Magical Zebra and Diva Whore Bitch are indeed SRS BZNS, it's true...

I had chocolate covered almonds instead, in homage to Stephane.

It depends on which part of Asia you live, I guess! I'm in Singapore, and NO FIGURE SKATING ART BOOKS FORTHCOMING YET. Sigh.

Lately a lot of things I do are in homage of Stephane. :)

Ah, that's true. Skating seems to be biggest in Japan and Korea, right now, right?. Is there a way to lump those together? Super East Asia? Countries That Touch the Sea of Japan (which would have the bonus of including Russia, but the con of being too long to say)?

Maybe instead ALL COUNTRIES SHOULD HAVE FIGURE SKATING ART BOOKS. ART BOOKS FOR ALL!

East Asia sounds good! Idk why China is generally considered East Asia as well, it's so huge it might as well also be part North and West and South Asia. But yeah, Japan and Korea. :) I don't even think we have an Olympic-sized rink in this country.

YISSSSS although if we're talking books, you know what I really want? JOHNNY'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY. WHERE IS IT ALREADY.
