They call me Dr. Love

Well I got another migraine today. It hit at roughly nine in the morning and there's NOT ONE SINGLE FREAKING REASON FOR IT.

List of reasons why I am unimpressed.

1) I've been eating roughly the same thing every day since Tuesday.
- I had red wine Tues. night. But I also had red wine last Wed. with no adverse affects for 72 hours.
- Last night I had two slices of wheat bread. I ate almost an entire (small) loaf of homemade white bread on Fri. and Sun. with no adverse affects for 72 hours.
- I had chocolate last night. But I had chocolate on Sun. with no adverse effect for 72 hours.

2) I've had caffeine consistently for the past three-four days.

3) No cheese, though some dairy on Tues.

4) I am not particularly stressed. In fact last night I had good news, watched a fun movie, and people told me my story was neat. Tomorrow is payday. I am the opposite of stressed. I had only been at work for less than an hour when it hit.

5) My cycle, the suspected culprit of my last migraine, has already started and ended today.

Basically right now the three strongest contenders in the lead for "I Give Candice Migraines" are:

1) Dairy (WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?)
2) Gluten (WHY DON'T YOU JUST KILL ME NOW)
3) My period (HARD TO AVOID IT, JS)

So. I'm going to conduct the following experiment. Live life normally this week, and see if I get a migraine. If I don't get a migraine, the trigger is only my period and I have to see how to address that. If do get a migraine, it's not my period, it's what I'm eating/doing.

So then I will cut out all dairy week 2. If I get a migraine, it's gluten (FFFFFUCK). So then week 3 I will abstain from gluten, and eat dairy. If I get a migraine it's gluten and dairy (I WILL COMMIT SEPPUKU). If I don't get a migraine, it's just dairy. So then Week 4 I'll abstain from everything. If I don't get a migraine in week 4, it's just food triggers (useful to know). If I get a migraine in Week 4 it's food triggers and my period (MAY AS WELL JUST GIVE UP HAVING FUN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE).

Wait, is that logic sound? Check my work, LJ.

In other news, to make up for this I prescribe:

1) Nine hours of sleep tonight.
2) Three hours of fringe.
3) Half hour of crossword puzzles.
4) Half hour of Jonas videos.
5) Pajama pants and fluffy sweater.
6) More list making.
