Typical of them. But still, so adorable. I really love this scene. They are at a point of their relationship where, while they are on the same level emotionaly and connecting to each other, they’re still able to be complete idiots sometimes, due to their respectives insecurities, and I just love that. It’s important to note that Buffy is more open emotionaly, in despite of her fears, she’s the one who’s trying to have a conversation, who wants to stop playing games. She wants to talk about how they felt the previous night. And that’s exactly the kind of scene you watch with some tenderness for them. That’s their way of expressing how they feel about each other and how much they mean to each other. And the : “Honey, you’re home” is just… aww ♥
But beyond that, I really love the meaning of this scene. The moment Spike reveals that it was the best night of his life, and when Buffy says that she was there with him. That's why I chose it as the happiest Spuffy moment, because even if they are afraid of expressing their feelings to each other, even if they are expressing it in their own ways, that's a moment of truth between them, and the meaning is really beautiful.
