Diana Wynn Jones - The Chrestomanci Books

Mar 10, 2000 13:22

Overall:

Genre: Fantasy/Steampunk?
Age: YA

My Comments:
This series does not follow a specific individual or group of people.  I suspect that the Chrestomanci in all four books is one in the same but I don't believe that is made obviously clear.  I enjoyed this books greatly and would recommend them to anyone interested in fantasy.  However, they are not my absolute favorite of Diana Wynne Jones' work.  Althought if you liked her other books you will enjoy these.  These may be steam punk-ish but I really don't know.  There's lots of stuff going on in them.  I just noticed that DWJ published two more books in this series that I haven't read yet: Conrad's Fate & The Pinhole Egg .
