The greatest lesson in business that I have learned in the past month or so is....make connections. Seek out important people. Make connections with them, make yourself known. And even more important...MAINTAIN THOSE RELATIONSHIPS. If you don't keep in contact with them, remind them who you are, and make them realize that they are better off knowing you and being familiar with your work, you are nothing more than an acquaintance.
