Nick's homecoming (did I ever mention he was in Colorado for 2 weeks?), this past Monday. Claudia was soooo happy to see him, every time he sat down on the floor, she'd sit in his lap.

Claudia turned 16 months on Saturday. She's getting to be such a big girl, and in some ways, she is so different from her brother. A brief update follows. I am not sure that I can cover everything, because it seems like she's doing so much that I am sure to forget stuff.

I made chipped beef on toast for dinner tonight. I wasn't even planning on TRYING to get her to eat any. She *flipped out* until I fixed her a piece. And then she ate almost all of it...

We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with my parents, brother, SIL, and nephew. A small party, but that's ok. She had fun.

The cake was from Coldstone. Yellow cake with strawberry ice cream. I wondered, after ordering it, how she would manage the ice cream. Turns out, she just ate it with her fingers. Didn't seem to bother her at all!
