My neighbor keeps a notebook for what she reads and she reads a lot. I think she told me that she goes through a notebook a year. She reads anything and everything.

When I worked at Hastings and we got free books, I always got the cheap romances. I thought of it as my cheesy tv programs, the ones that are enjoyable but you really don't have to put any thought into. But then again I rarely pick up any "high" literature to read.

I read Chick Lit, historical romances of the Scottish persuasion, mainstream fiction or whatever books like 'The Time-Traveler's Wife' would be called, real-life crime novels by Ann Rule and the like, autobiographies, that kind of thing.

Me, too! Well, except the real-life crime novels. I also enjoy historical romances of the time traveling persuasion, and the Regency era persuasion, but still. I'm afraid to keep a reading journal because then it's REAL that those books are all I read... now, I can still pretend that I read some JD Salinger or Margaret Atwood, even though those books have been collecting dust on the bookshelf since I bought them.

My hand to George Clooney's ass, I will beat a VM fic out of you. Don't think I won't. Just in case you get ideas and flit off to a new fandom.
