Absorbtion
I haven't posted in a long, long time. Mostly, because I ahve been so absorbed by LIFE that I have had little time, energy, or space in my life for anything outside the real-life, pay-attention-to-me-now-or-pay-the-price-later logisitcs of being a grown up, i.e.trying to work, pay my bills, balance the relationships that I've been trying to rebuild and fortify since I've been home from PC, and figure out where exactly I want to go next.
To give a brief run-down of my life (as if anyone cares, LOL), I'll give a quick bullet-point synopsis:
- back and living in the greater Atlanta area. I love ATL!!!
-the Bunny and I made it work, and he moved up to GA and we are surprisingly happy, drama-free, and content
-working and making a living
- kind of suffering from a post-PC identity crisis, but it's getting better. Let's be honest, an event like serving in the Peace Corps is a fuckin' hard act to follow. Everything is going to seem kind of bland in comparision.
-residscovering my friends, and the ways I want to cultivate and also distance myself in a few of my relationships
- looking forward to going back to school and making an action plan for a real, honest-to-goddess CAREER
-eating biscuits whenever possible
-going to TONS of weddings
It seems that I should have so much more to say...but really, I don't. Life is good.
And, my certain ATL friend, we still have a trip to the Varsity I need to collect!!
I am glad to read and catch up on everyone, and see that most of you are doing well and are happy and healthy. Drop me a line if you feel inclined!
