I'm going to guess that it's not a good thing when your knee bends sideways and then after that, it hurts to move it...

I'm going to guess that it's really not a good thing when you ask your mom if it feels feverish to her, and she says "maybe a little bit... But it looks funny ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry you hurt, have you gotten you knee checked yet?

Hope you feel better soon.

No. It only just happened this afternoon. Aspirin seems to have eased the pain for now. If it goes back to being unbearable to walk again tomorrow, and stays that way, I may have it looked at.

Though I don't expect there's any actual damage, since I CAN put weight on it, and I can walk, and it doesn't reduce me to tears to move it, so I'd probably just be told to take more painkillers and suck it up.

I'm used to this knee hurting. Pretty sure I have arthritis in it, 'cause of all the damage that I've done to it...

I will if it's as bad once the aspirin wears off. For now, that's helped, and I can at least sit mostly comfortably.

One hopes that if there were serious damage, I would either not be able to walk, or doing so would be less "omg ow ow ow" and more "oh god, someone cut it off, that would probably feel better"
