yay, a schedule!
first off, I made some icons today; My new default:

. I dunno if anyone wants to, but if you'd like to snag them, feel free. I've been in an RE- specifically Leon/Ada- mood of late, what with the fusion!fic.
Anyway, as for that schedule...
Going to try and finish Rookie Cops & Cold Hearted Spies before the end of January. Then I'll probably sign up for the SPNj2 BigBang and get to work on Awakened, which means I won't be able to post it in pieces like I was hoping to, so as not to flood people with OMG HUGE FIC all at once like I did with Empire, but alas, I think that deadline is the only thing that's going to get me writing.
Hopefully I'll have Awakened completed, or close enough to completed by April so I can sign up for the Dean/Cas BigBang... I have no idea what to do for the Dean/Cas BB though. I have several different ideas...
*That noir!fic I mentioned months ago. I'd have plenty of time to work out more than just the basic "Dean is a cop, Cas is the innocent suspect, and Anna is a lounge singer" concept...
*A sequel to Empire. Again, I'd have plenty of time to work out the actual plot, instead of individual scenes that keep coming to me. (Including Dean thwacking people with his cane, Cas trying to keep a toddler from plucking his wings, more clarification on how Gabriel/Crowley came to be :P)
*The prospect of a Force Unleashed/Force Unleashed II fusion has been nibbling at my brain on occasion, but I have no idea how the cast list would look beyond: Cas = Galen/Starkiller, Dean = Juno (and the Impala = the Rogue Shadow)...
Anyone want to throw in a vote?
As for the RE2 fusion; settled on Lilith and Michael being Annette and William, the evil scientists, with Anna filling in the role of Sherry. Only since Sherry's complete inability to defend herself from, or fight her way out of a wet paper bag annoyed me to absolutely no end, the few times little!Anna shows up, she'll be at least trying to fight.
...Also, I'm sticking with all the RE!verse ages, ridiculous as they may be, which means changing canon character ages. It's still taking place in '98, so Dean would have only been 19. He's been aged up to 21.... As I said last time, Sam is taking Chris' place (in other words, he is Officer Not Appearing in This Fic aside from obvious mentions), so he's been aged WAY up to 25- and is Jo's brother rather than Dean's.
I think Lucifer will be Wesker (though he is Sir Not Appearing in This Fic aside from one or two mentions likely all around the time Dean finds out who/what Cas really is)
And now, back to outlining this thing, since my original outline was way off. That's what you get when you haven't played the game in a while and you try to use the RE Archives book to refresh your memory. Thankfully I found my old walkthrough, AND complete game script (no, I'm not a complete nerd, why do you ask?) so I can work out a better one.
I invite you to enjoy this cheesy as fuck classic scene from RE2. If you've never played the games, all the better. It will only increase your likelihood of laughing hysterically at the badness enjoying it.
