how not to look like a responsible mod
So I just got promoted to the status of mod on a forum that I can't link to because the Big Guy would kill me for revealing our hiding place. Myself, and a group of other regulars on IMDB were driven out by the trolls continuously reporting our threads, and getting them deleted. Anywho, promoted to mod this evening, or rather, promoted to Angel of the Lord. A friend was also promoted to Angel of the Lord, and right after, promoted to Archangel. In celebration of my new rank, I changed my display name to Castiel. My Archangel friend has been using "Meg Masters" since we joined the place.
But since we're both new at the Angel thing, we're not used to all the new buttons that appear on the posts. Specifically, the ones that let us edit other people's posts, along with our own.
So my post originally reads: I wish I had some Meg gifs to give you, bb. I thought I had one, but it turned out to be Ruby
I go away for a bit, and I come back to find that it now reads: You.... you... You just mistook me for Ruby :( :( :( :(
I really didn't remember typing that. A few minutes later, this is added: Sorry, I totally clicked modify instead of reply. *facepalm*
Only now she's started something, because hey, I can edit it too. It is my post after all. So I start editing. Only, so does the boards' main mod, Josh... And at the end of it, my post looks like this
(this is copy/pasted from the thread. 3rd edit is mine, 4th edit is Josh, then me, then him, etc until the last, is " meg")

EDIT the 3rd: I think these new mod powers are getting to you, bb.
4th EDIT: She learned from the best.
5th EDIT: If she's clicking the wrong buttons, wouldn't that imply she learned from the worst?

7th EDIT: Oh sure, run from your responsibility! It's your fault, y'know, setting a bad example :P

Only, because I had to go correct a typo after "Meg" made the final "edit", it now says "last edited by Castiel" and it rather looks like I had an argument with myself.
Hell, even if it doesn't look like I had an argument with myself, still XD Way for the board mods to look completely ridiculous, eh? =P
It was fun though. But now I'll probably have the reputation for being the crazy Angel of the Lord... Though I mentioned that in another post:

I'm an Angel of the Lord with multiple, clearly insane personalities, and I can kill you all with one glare. You should show me... Some respect.
