A sad day for us

I generally use social media to share my kids with my extended family and friends, but today it is going to be a vehicle to share some sad news, and spare me the pain of having to tell people individually what happened.

Aw, I’m so sorry you had to put her down. Losing a pet is so hard. Lots of hugs. And you have one smart little guy on your hands. Someone else’s big beautiful house, I love it!

Not feeling brave, just miserable. I know I did the right thing, but man it hurts.

I am so sorry. I know how hard of a decision that was to make, but Thomas is right: she's in a better place. With kidney and liver failure, so often even the heroic measures don't help.

You gave Ruby a beautiful life. She had a big home and people to snuggle with and a little boy to play with... people who appreciated her energy. She had a wonderful dog life.

So sorry to hear about Ruby. 9 is so young. Hog will be 9 in October.
