thanks for all the kind messages everyone, i appreciate it.
plan now is that my parents will go to england, i will live at jeffs for a week or so and go with him back to montreal.
because my dadima died in her home and not in hospital, they need to do an autopsy, and she cannot be buried within 24 hours according to islamic law. they wont be able to have an inquiry till mid week due to christmas and the funeral will be next friday at the earliest.
no one was with her when she died, she had gotten up in the middle of the nite to use the washroom and they found her there seemingly asleep on the floor. it appears it was just a very sudden heart attack. her slippers, as always were neatly lined up outside the door so she could wash her feet.
as upset as i am, i know the past few months were happy times for her, she was thrilled to be going back to india with her children and grandchildren. she was active, healthy, excited, and planning to stay long after we'd left to travel alone and see friends. she was independent and adventurous to her last moments and that was exactly what she wanted. if only she could have lived just a few more months so we could share that with her one last time - but some things are just not meant to be.
