house work
Not much new to report here -- had a good weekend, although it was nothing to write home about. Bob and I hung out with his brother Friday night after a nice sushi dinner between just he and I and watched that movie "Sin City" which is good -- definitely different, but that's what makes it pretty interesting. I was surprised at some of the actors in that movie. I mean, it didn't seem like a Bruce Willis type of flick, but he was in it with costars like Josh Hartnett, Britney Murphy, and Jessica Alba. So...strange mix, but definitely worth checking out for a little different flavor.
Besides that, the only fun Bob and I really had this weekend was on Saturday -- one of his friends has a boat and we went out on the lake and chilled, drank, and swam. It was hot as ever out there, but it was definitely fun floating in the middle of the lake with some brewskies and tunes. Then Saturday night we began putting together our new living room furniture and spent the entire day Sunday cleaning the house. Fun stuff, but at least we were productive, I suppose. Oh yeah, we took Bob's mom and brother out for dinner also, for watching Jasmine while we were on vacation last week. Had to pay my dues, ya know? *joy*
Now Bob is gone for a long week -- til Thursday, so I've got the house to myself (although I'm kinda looking forward to hanging with Ms. Jasmine). :) Work is busy -- I can't believe the end of the month is here again. Absolutely insane and ridiculous.
Oh, my friend Ken from Orlando is in town and will be meeting up with me one night this week, so that should be cool seeing a familiar FL face again. We went to grad school together and he's in Raleigh this week doing some training for work. :)
