tiny lessons
I almost went an entire week without updating, but here goes for now.
I’m looking forward to my VACATION to Maine/NH next week! I desperately need it, although it will be a vacation short of cash since I’m living paycheck to paycheck since I purchased my marvy home. But anyway, who’s counting right? As long as I’ve got happiness, I’ve got sanity…
Today at work my very sweet coworker Jan brought me a house warming gift. It’s a beautiful glass perfume flask…earth tone colors and very pretty. Yesterday she bought me a bag of Reeses peanut butter cup miniatures because she knew I was PMS-ing (hehe), and a few weeks ago she brought me a bag of all her nice hair products that she can’t use anymore…because she has cancer and is going through chemo and radiation. I tell ya, she is the sweetest and she breaks my heart (especially when she brought in all her top-notch hair products) because SHE’S the one who should be pampered with gifts, not me! So anyway, I dunno…life is constantly a lesson to be learned and this is why we all need to learn to appreciate the smaller things in life (like hair products - we never really think about how much sentiment they hold until they can’t be used).
Anyway, otherwise, Bob is home for tonight and works Wednesday-Friday afternoon. Then we have his friend’s wedding to attend on Saturday. The rest of the week has been busy busy because finally I’m seeing the consequence of all my marketing efforts. We’ve already gotten a lot of sales this month (and it’s only the 2nd), and our website traffic is the highest it ever was. Good news all around.
Ahh, well, back to work for me. Just wanted to touch base with my regulars!
