Happy 4th!
I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing weekend. Bob and I did -- although it was busy. I think this homeowner biz is gonna keep us pretty much on our toes forever because the list we have for ourselves is never ending. But....it's all fun stuff, so who's counting, right?
Anyway, some fun updates are that Bob bought a new washer/dryer that will be delivered Thursday. Can't wait to play around with that. hehe We also bought a nice bedroom set -- cherry wood and silver decor and we both love it. The next project will be to paint the walls (upstairs first), so the plan for the master bedroom is sage green. Should contrast nicely with the wood. Otherwise, Bob and I exercised, went to his mom's bbq, hung out with some friends of his I hadn't met yet downtown at a place that has about 200 kinds of beers....and we overall just chilled out and ran errands. This weekend we have a wedding in Toledo for his cousin, so I had to buy a new dress and shoes. Otherwise, it was back to work today and it's already been a busy one. I'm either taking Friday off or Monday off (or both), but the plan is Friday night so I can "break one off" with my homegirl Joelle. hehe
Oh, the other big news is that my car is now paid off. In fact, that is great news. I think I'll go home now and drink a beer to that. Bye now!
