(no subject)
I've accomplished two big things today. One is a new fractal. The other is I finally got fed up with the lack of brightness on my computer, after struggling to watch PoA and GoF on it(the amount of darkness in the cinematography of PoA is well-documented, but I wonder how many people have noticed the same in GoF. On this computer, of course, there was no way I wasn't going to notice). After some time taken tracking down the brightness controls, and some some exasperating time trying to figure out to operate them(still haven't quite figured out the secret, but at least I was able to get them to respond), I've taken the brightness up, and can now see everything. I need to replace my wallpaper though; it didn't hold up to the scrutiny.
