Mississippi TG Support Groups: Are There Any?

I want to carry out a successful transition, and I want to make contact with other transgender individuals in my area. I live near the city of Hattiesburg, and I'm interested in locating a group in the southern part of the state. Are there are any transsexual, transgender support groups that you know of? The last time I looked, the only information I've found in the entire state has been out of date for years, and I want to know if there is anything new out there. I believe it's going to be an important thing for me and everyone else seeking help in this department.

If there is no support group that anyone here knows about, then how about starting up a new support group for our area?
