Hopefully someone can answer me this. How much of a speed difference is 384 Kb as opposed to 1.0 Mbps? I've got to call the cable company about the internet tomorrow, and I can't decide which package to get. The 384Kb package is offered at 29.99 while the 2 Mb package is offered at 39.99. And I'm running 1 Mb right now. I don't want to go much slower, I'm not trying to get back to 56k modem speed, but I'm trying to save money.
