distal example, reckon we've been talkin to da same cheeky chappy ;)
ok i dont usually rant about veganism partly because i fear that others will think im judging them and partly because i feel considering ive only been vagan 1 year gives me no right. however each day i learn more and more reasons as to why it is so important. i myself only became vegan one year ago to the month and had only been vegetarian just under two years before that. the thing is i grew up within a family of meat eaters, i was never told the importance of vegetarianism, my habit of eating meat kept me ignorant and habit, as Laurence Peter put it, is often "simply the easiest way to be wrong again"
it has only been through my willingness to learn and through the encouragemnet of others that i have not only become vegan but realised its uttermost importance, it is not about my choice some great stance or whatever, it is about necessity. i simply hope this entry makes others think perhaps. We make our own choices its just some are more rational than others and silence does a cause no favours.

im smiling really, i thought about looking up at the sky or posing showing just my eyes but i went for the stern militant look instead ;)
To not realise the important role animals play in OUR world, to not realise how cruel the meat/dairy industry is, to not understand that each and every creature/micro organism/mammal/ plays a vital role and has a right to life, to not realise that the destructive nature of the meat industry on eco-systems, in -fact our entire world is one thing, to not realise suggests one will potentially be willing to learn, however to know and not do anything about it is another.
