Duo is depressed, someone knocks his door down to help him?

Hiya guys!

I have this scene stuck in my head and it's bugging me for a few days now. Problem is I  can't for the life of me remember the fic the scene is from. So I came here in hopes that someone can direct me in the right direction. What do I remember? Duo isn't feeling all that well. In fact, he seems to have some kind of depression. At one

Thank you for replying! I re-read "The Best Christmas Ever" the other day and even though it's a great fic, it's not the one I'm looking for.

I know, I know, my mind just gives me vague memories to get me all confused. I think it is a post war fic. A get together as well. And I do have a feeling it's either about Duo running and hiding or about the other four guys neglecting Duo. I also think it is a rather longish fic as I mostly read the longer stuff.

There are thousands of fics where Duo runs or hides from the others ^^; I'm afraid we won't be of much help with so little.

Hum... there was this fic where Heero is cheating with Wufei. Duo fakes his death and goes to the university under the name David (I think). Rings a bell? It occurs during the war but Heero finds Duo again post-war.

The one you are describing is "Duo's Demise" by Dyna Dee

Was it Lasha Lee's "And I Have Touched The Sky" and its sequel "Here There Be Dragons?" That's a long fic where Duo was married to Hilde and after she died he went into a depression. I think it was Wufei who came and knocked some sense into him so that he could function and take care of their child. The fic actually starts with Heero finding Duo years later and how their relationship grows. The parts with Hilde and Wufei are flashbacks, I think. Anyway, it's over at gwaddiction.com. Worth reading even if it's not the one you were looking for. ;-)

Thank you for your comment, but I'm afraid the fic you are suggesting is not the one I'm looking for. But I might want to re-read "And I Have Touched The Sky" now. Thanks for reminding me! :D

It might be Scar Tissue. There's a scene with Heero almost breaking down the door in chapter 8.
