Summer is finally here, and I'm not really doing anything for all of July, which means that I can make serious progress on my reading and movie-watching goals. I've just been relaxing and recuperating from school so far, which is just as awesome as it sounds.
Here's my
updated list.
Goals Completed:
None, alas.
Goals In Progress:
Number 13: Purge my wardrobe every three months [2/12]. I only got rid of a couple of shirts this time around, and they're sitting and waiting for Purple Heart as I type.
Number 16: Get a decent collection of high quality earrings [3/10]. I received a pair of Betsey Johnson earrings for my birthday, and bought a pair of cute disc-shaped earrings from Lord & Taylor.
Number 24: Take photography classes. I took my first class on Monday, and I actually learned what both ISO and F-Stops are.
Number 28: Read 25 nonfiction books [
1/25]. I read a book about sororities, which is not actually as scandalous as its title implies.
Number 29: Read the list of 100 classic books [
3/100]. I read Catcher in the Rye, which was a total pile of poop (Holden's a whiny, static character that is hypocritical and a total asshole to boot), and Brave New World, which was actually an easy read.
Number 57: Compete in a horse show and win a ribbon. I'll hopefully go to a show in late July/early August and compete in a pleasure horse or equitation on the flat class, because I don't jump and I'm not that good at dressage yet ;)
Number 87: Drink one liter of water a day for 200 days [3/200]. Wow, that's an embarrassing number. I bought the required 1 liter water bottle from Target, and am slowly chipping away at this.
