I haven’t updated to this comm in quite a while so I’m going to make up for it with an update covering the last (largely uneventful) month.

Completed
37. Create a Facebook and use it to maintain relationships with friends and family.
I crossed this one off on the 17th because, seriously I use Facebook all the goddamn time. And I actually have been keeping in touch with people, which is good.
In Progress
3. Read 100 books and write a review for each (7/100).
This month I've read The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis and The Owl Service by Alan Garner, the reviews for which can all be found
here. I'm currently reading Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert O'Brien. I know it seems like I'm on a children's fantasy novel kick but these books are all part of my reading list for my Fantasy Narratives class next semester.
15. Complete a "Wreck This Journal".
During Week 24 I made a table to keep track of how much progress I've made on my WTJ and discovered that I've completely finished 40 pages, partially finished 19 and have yet to start a further 34 pages. Another picspam might be in order soon.
17. Keep a blog of my progress (with photos where possible).
I really fell behind on this one after uni started up in March but I think I’m getting back on track, having done weekly updates on time for the last three weeks.
31. Maintain a planner for a year (6/12).
A fair few days in June are largely or entirely empty, some because I had literally nothing to do all day and a few because I was just too lazy to write anything. But I’m still using my planner and I’ve even started looking online for the inspiration as to what I’ll buy for next year.
33. Watch and keep a log of 100 movies (57/100).
I watched 12 movies in June, they were:
- Bride Wars
- The Royal Tenenbaums
- Clerks II
- The Losers
- I Could Never be Your Woman
- In Good Company
- The A-Team
- My Super Ex-Girlfriend
- He’s Just Not That Into You
- Hot Tub Time Machine
- Treasure Planet
- When in Rome
35. Finish writing this list (77/101).
I added three new goals to my list:
- 75. Try at least 5 of the recipes in my "to try" collection (0/5).
- 76. Collect and have printed at least 30 good pictures of friends/family/pets (collected - 9/30, printed - 0/30).
- 77. Find/take 10 pictures of myself that I actually like (3/10).
55. Shower in under 10 minutes every day for a week (0/7) ten times (1/10).
I finished my first of ten on the 20th with the average shower lasting 8mins 51secs. I’ll make it shorter next time, promise.
68. Read a trashy women's magazine once every six months (2/5).
Last week I read a couple of the magazines my mum had lying around. I learned that Miley Cyrus is a horrifying slut and Victoria Beckham has ridiculous taste in shoes. Very valuable information */sarcasm*. Still, a rather enjoyable waste of time.
76. Collect and have printed at least 30 good pictures of friends/family/pets (collected - 9/30, printed - 0/30).
Since moving out of home I've realised the benefit of having physical photographs up on your walls to remind you of the people/places/pets you love. I have a "favourites" folder containing about 40-odd photos but not all of them are wall-appropriate.
77. Find/take 10 pictures of myself that I actually like (3/10).
I've never been terribly photogenic but occasionally there's a photo of me somewhere that I don't mind people seeing. I've currently got my Year 12 school photo, one from my Year 12 graduation and one from a family Christmas event a couple of years ago.
The remainder of the list can be found
