Weeks 19 & 20
Missed my update last week, so another double-week summary.
These past two weeks, I:
...won a mini-contest over at brigits_flame, and as if that's not enough, the prize is a handmade blanket!
...started Basic Drawing class, and also started HATING straddle benches.
...got 50 mangoes from my mother (20 of which she took to work to be the MANGO FAIRY or something, I don't know).
...finished reading my free copy of Blue Diablo.
...mailed out one Postcrossing card.
...failed to do things I'd promised to do last week, like read Ben Franklin's autobiography, take a new driver's license photo or mail out that letter I'd started to write but didn't finish and which I will have to rewrite now so that it's topical.
Week 19 details this way. Week 20 details that way. Full 101/1001 list is here. And since everyone's talking about it, for the record I don't like Wonder Woman's costume re-do.
I've been thinking of compiling my Songs of the Week choices into a mix CD - probably in a couple weeks. Would anybody be interested? (For the curious, you can see what songs I've been picking each week here.)
